I have wavy hair that is REALLY frizzy. It took me some time to learn how to tame it! Try shoulder length with soft layers. That will get rid of some of the puffiness. Dont cut it too much above your shoulders, that could emphasize the frizziness and puffiness. I think shoulder length hair is more versatile, you could wear it curly and its easier to straighten it out if you ever felt like it.

NO! I had the same type of hair, pretty long, down my back and I cut it that short and it ended up by my ears....it was horrible...I couldn't even tie it back...trust me long curly hair is good.....and way less frizzy than short curly hair...unless you're going to like straighten it every single day so its like a really pretty bob type of cut...good luck : )

If you want to cut it then cut it. But it might still be frizzy. And if that's the case try using a friz-ease of some sort.

No. Having your hair cut above your shoulders will just make it look much more frizzy. I suggest taking it and straightening it, seeing if that will make it less frizzy. But if it doesn't, talk to your hairdresser to see what kind of shampoo will work. I use Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine, and it makes my hair really soft, not frizzy at all. You dont really have to cut it that drastic depending on what length it is now.

Add some choppy layers %26amp; get an inch trimmed off the length to get rid of any split ends %26amp; to tidy the length up as not all hairs grow the same speed.

Trust me, the best curly hair is long curly hair. I have shoulder length hair now, but when I was going through a "phase" I cut it in really choppy layers while it was straight. When I washed it, I looked like a poodle that got attacked with a machete. Don't cut your hair at all. Trim often and prevent split ends so you never have to chop off like, six inches. If you want short hair, you'll have to chemically straighten it.
