if you're really thin like i am, you shouldn't grow your hair past mid-back because i find it makes me look more childish and also, more sickly and tired. a shorter haircut with layers and even highlights does wonders to brighten up your face

You need long layers added, it helps to lighten up flat, straight hair. Also use a root lifter (Matrix Amplify Root Lifter) to get more lift and volume out of your hair. Last of all blow dry your hair upside down once you get layers and a root lifter. I promiss you'll love your hair than.
